Mr. Ankush Ramchandrarav More, founder of Abhinav Kala Krida Academy, hails from the culturally rich village of Vadgaon Budruk in Ratnagiri district. Moving to Mumbai in 1978, he combined his education with an unwavering passion for Kabaddi—a sport he has served for over four decades as a player, referee, coach, and organizer at district, state, national, and international levels.
Under his leadership, the Abhinav Krida Mandal and later the registered Abhinav Kala Krida Academy have nurtured over 250 players, many of whom have achieved national and international recognition. Established in 2015, the academy is committed to promoting Kabaddi and empowering rural talent through structured training and professional guidance.
Goals
Beyond sports, Mr. More envisions the Raje Chandrarav Kridanagari—a modern multi-sport complex in Ratnagiri—to provide world-class facilities for aspiring athletes.
